The course was conceived in 1990 by the prestigious architect Ramón Espinosa, who skillfully integrated the natural topography of Mas Nou to create 18 holes of uncommon challenge and beauty. Each hole presents a distinct strategic challenge: the elevation changes, the natural hazards, and the Mediterranean views turn every round into an exercise in golf at its purest. A layout that golfers talk about and, once played, want to play again.

Located in Playa de Aro, in the heart of the Catalan Costa Brava and within the Gavarres Natural Park—a protected natural environment of exceptional ecological and scenic value—the club offers some of the most privileged panoramic views of the entire Mediterranean coast. The blue of the Mediterranean accompanies the player throughout the entire course, turning each round into an experience that transcends golf. It is no coincidence that golfers from all over Europe choose Club Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou as their destination: the location is, in itself, an irrefutable argument.

All players must comply with the Rules of Golf established by the RFEG and the Catalan Golf Federation, as well as the Club’s internal regulations. Compliance with these rules ensures an appropriate pace of play and an optimal experience for all.
Golf maintains a centuries-old tradition of elegance and presentation. To access the course, it is essential to dress appropriately, following the customary standards of this sport.
