The course layout was conceived in 1990 by the renowned architect Ramón Espinosa, who masterfully integrated the natural terrain of Mas Nou to create 18 holes of uncommon challenge and beauty. Each hole presents a different strategic test: the elevation changes, natural hazards and Mediterranean views turn every round into golf in its purest form. A layout golfers talk about and, once played, want to play again.

What Our Visitors Say
Fun design by Ramón Espinosa, in a beautiful setting with a superb vantage point over the Costa Brava and the province’s interior. If I had to single out one hole, No. 4 is a par 5 that, from an elevated tee, bends with out of bounds (ravine) on the left and privileged views of the coast… although it is not the only one like this.
A challenging, quite technical course, with wonderful views.
The staff, very professional and friendly.
A school with three instructors and an excellent driving range.
And when you finish, there’s the 19th Hole where you can enjoy a good beer accompanied by excellent tapas or a carefully curated menu.
In my opinion, it is a magnificent golf course with spectacular views. The course is very, very well maintained. Playing golf on this course is a great experience, and afterwards, you can enjoy a fine meal at its restaurant (Hoyo 19).
Golf d’Aro is quite possibly the course with the best views.
It is a demanding and highly technical layout, yet enjoyable at the same time.
